Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck plus Phooey Duck - Ducktales 2017 AU

This has already been published on Tumblr and Reddit, so let me publish it here as well. The rest is copied from my Tumblr blog from last year. I drew this last month, but here I am posting here. Despite some of my dissatisfaction with the Ducktales reboot, I still have to admit that it was fun to watch and that some changes were welcome. Not to let everything fall into oblivion, I drew Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck from Ducktales reboot again, but in my own way, I put Donald’s nephews in a classic style, as I don’t like Ducktales reboot style. Sorry, but the Ducktales reboot style is very strange and unacceptable to me. Still, I can’t deny that HDL weren’t good in that series, when in fact they were, I just wish the brothers got along better and that their characterization development was better.
I drew them as older boys or teenagers, but in my own way to imagine them. I used a little inspiration from other fanarts and combined it into one. Yes, HDL also wears pants and their own way of clothing, which may be too cool. And everyone wears hats, especially Louie with a backwards cap. This may be the way I envisage a Quack Pack reboot if it were based on a Ducktales reboot, but I’d rather say it’s a Ducktales AU, and I’ll talk more about that another time. Yes, there is also Phooey Duck, the fourth nephew who must not be forgotten.
