Funny how this Mouse-ley character is spreading around the internet now with the remake having come out. I can't help but remember that when the original RE4 came out, people hated her mostly because she was a pain to protect and made a good chunk of the game an escort mission. As I haven't played the remake yet, I don't know if that's still the case.
