Ash and Pikachu were leaning against a tree, looking up at the sky. They sighed, remembering all the adventures they had, the friends they made along the way and all the battles they've had together.
Ash: Well, another journey has come and gone.
Pikachu: Yeah, Ash.
Ash: It was nice being World Champion, although I realized something, Pikachu.
Pikachu: What is it?
Ash: When we saved Latios and Latias from that Pokémon Hunter, I learned something. The only real way I'll become a Pokémon Master is by befriending a lot of Pokémon. Only then will I really become one.
(Pikachu stood up in surprise)
Pikachu: Let me get this straight. You think the only way you'll actually become a Pokémon Master is by meeting a lot of Pokémon?
Ash: Hey, I met you and the rest of my Pokémon, didn't I?
(Pikachu chuckles)
Ash: Heck, I still remember that you didn't care about me, until the day I saved you from those Spearow. And it was on my first day as a Trainer, in case you forgot.
Pikachu: How could I? And we're still together to this day.
(Ash stood up)
Ash: Well, Pikachu... Who knows what adventures awaits us now?
Suddenly, a rainbow appeared in the sky. Ash and Pikachu looked at it with a smile.
Ash: Looking forward to meeting more Pokémon.
Pikachu: You and me both.
Ash: Oh, I almost forgot. I asked Professor Oak a favor before we leave Pallet Town.
(Pikachu raised an eyebrow)
Pikachu: What favor?
Ash opens his backpack, revealing a lot of Poke Balls inside.
Pikachu: Wait, is that...?
Ash: Yep. I decided to bring the rest of my Pokémon. Since we're going to be travelling together, I might as well bring them along.
Pikachu: Well, how could we all say no?
Ash throws his backpack over his shoulders and Pikachu jumps to his feet.
Ash: Let's go, Pikachu. We got a long journey ahead of us.
Pikachu: Right behind you, Ash.
With a smile on their faces, Ash and Pikachu ran down the road, wondering what kind of new Pokémon they'll met and what new adventures they'll have along the way.
Farewell, Ash and Ketchum and Pikachu. And thank you for the journey.
