Humanoid bipedal Leopard moth with four arms.

Young adults vary greatly.

Personality

Curious, generous, caring, she'll jump to help anyone before considering herself.

As with any other Luminoth, touching their antennae is always a death sentence unless the person touching is their spouse.

Background/History

Uli grew up, as a nymph, being prepared for a mission on a Federation Ship. She is to report remotely, on a weekly basis.

After coming aboard, she spent most of her time with Morgan Harper (pronounced More•jan. Typically, his race mispronounce their first names to annoy those who speak English because of a strong loathing for humanity.)

Luminoth are a race of warm-blooded humanoid mammalian insects.

Though they have a form of verbal communication, it is accompanied by antennae expressions and body language, including wing vibrational undertones.

The only variable difference between individuals are the patterns on their wings.

They are known for having perfected mechanical technologies that other races left behind.

These include carburetors, internal combustion engines, steam engines, compressed air engines, electric motors, etc.

They also criminalized excessive manufacturing, material waste and resource waste.

Having long ago standardized nearly everything, the only things that are allowed differences are engine sizes, power outputs, aesthetics and appearances of units being made.

Owner customization is a right, not a privilege.

Every single aspect of business and manufacture is a strict (to order only) under penalty of law.

Price gauging is, likewise, a severe felony that is punishable by the court ordered removal of the defendants wings upon being found guilty.

Ex: there is no notable difference between a brand new vehicle and a 500 year old vehicle if the model name is the same.

Antiques are commonplace and held in the highest regard, in value, over their modern equivalents. So much so that manufactures of the models either continue making replacement parts, or go under.

They have a strong hatred for electronics, but recognize their use.
That being said, as soon as anything electronic fails, their government shuts down the manufacturer indefinitely.
