I...seriously did not feel like inking in Manga Studio today. So this is traditional inking and I just threw digital coloring over it.

Alright, so a few characters you'll recognize. Yea, I gave Tails a bit of a makeover.

But what about the chipmunk and the walrus?

The chipmunk is actually Princess Acorn. No, seriously! This was her actual prototype design before she was made into the image we all know. Personally, I like this design. It's almost a throwback to late 80s type designs.

The walrus is Big Joe, aka Joe Sushi (or Rocky), the little walrus you rescue in the original Sonic games. He too was a prototype for the cartoon, but instead of going with that design, I went with a cross between the prototype design and his game design. In this instance, Joe is the muscle of the group, rather than the mechanic that Rotor is. We already got Tails, we need a bit a muscle!
