After Sonic's adventure with Chip the only thing he had left as a memento of the spirit was the green baubled necklace he had left him. Never had the blue hedgehog imagined it would be the thing that would give Chip a second chance to live freely, but as Miles from the anti-universe examined it he noted the connection it had to Chip still and of the possibility to use it as a focus to bring the spirit back and doing so without endangering the world.
There was nothing anyone from their world could do about Chip, but the fox from Anti-Mobius whom they had been through quite on ordeal to end up as allies with instead of bitter enemies had just the skills needed to make it happen.
Sonic watched anxiously as Miles started his magical ritual and drew Chip's consciousness out of the core of the planet using the necklace and bound him in a body made of magic, one that was identical to the body he had traveled around with Sonic with. Miles slowly moved forward and carefully put the glowing necklace around Chip's neck, then gently picked him out of the air. "Alright it's done." Miles panted as he placed the sleeping spirit into Sonic's hands.
"Thanks Miles." The hedgehog said with a sincere soft smile. Miles looked away with a blush and mumbled something like "whatever". The fox still didn't quite know how to handle gratitude or friendly interactions in general, but the fact he had even done this for him showed he had changed a lot already.
