"Hello, and welcome to a special episode of BIT Squad!" said 2BIT, his back turned away from the camera. "Over here, boss!" Cupie called out while the director, Zed, facepalmed in frustration. "This production is an artistic disaster..." the zebra groaned. Indeed this was a special episode. It is so far over the fourth wall, the writer isn't even giving it a chapter number! At any rate, 2BIT turned to the camera and cleared his throat. "Hello there! You've known me as 2BIT the fox. Demigod, author, gamer... But today I'd like to introduce myself as 2BIT...the Youtuber!" he announced as Zed rolled his eyes. "You're a Youtuber, not an Emmy host, be more natural!" the director shouted. 2BIT grunted softly in embarrassment, and stepped over to a screen, which Tails was operating from a nearby computer. "You should call it '2tube...' Has a good ring..." the fox suggested. "We're going with 2BIT Gaming. Or 2BIT Plays. Something like that, leaving it open for a second channel. You know how I like twos..." he said to his two-tailed companion. "CUT! I can't work like this! Stripes, get these guys under control!" Zed shouted, stomping off in frustration over the chaotic production. He felt like Charlie Brown at the Christmas play, no one seemed interested in his vision for the project. Also, he was a tad bitter over not being involved in the video-creation process for the channel.
At any rate, Stripes took over in the director's chair...and promptly fell asleep, leaving 2BIT to continue as he pleased. "So, yes, 2BIT Gaming! This is a real thing in your real world, real readers! I've spent the past 2 months recording gameplay footage, and we're going to embark on this adventure together! Roll that beatiful game footage, Tails!" he said, pointing to the screen. "Got it!" Tails said, but the first thing to pop up on the screen was text reading "2BIT was here!" The foxes glanced at the screen and chuckled softly. "Right, I was practicing the editing. I know how to add text, at least! That figures. Just roll a montage, Tails!" 2BIT suggested. "You're have to make a montage first! I can't just magic a montage onto the screen! Ugh, whatever... TailsTube didn't need an infomercial..." he grumbled, putting up some footage of a game starring a fox dressed in green. "Ah, there it is! Yes, my first playthrough will be a game called Tunic, which is totally new to me, my demigod powers won't help me here!" he said. "Just nitpicking..." said Dusk from off-camera, "But maybe don't call yourself a demigod on the channel. Sounds like you're bragging." he murmured. Actually I'm the one doing the channel, so if I'd brag about an off-topic thing, it'd be how much writing I've done. "Right, well where was I...?"
"Tunic is an adventure game starring this guy, I call him Stabby Fox, who wakes up in a mysterious land full of monsters and hostiles...and scattered game manual pages. Hm, that's meta. Almost like it was made for us here!" 2BIT chuckled. The footage shifted to gameplay featuring Sora; Kingdom Hearts! Vixy squee'd excitedly from off-camera. "Yes, yes! That's my booooy!" she cheered. 2BIT rubbed his head awkwardly. "Erm, yes. I will also be playing through Kingdom Hearts! Some episodes have been plagued by technical difficulties, but you know me, I'll just kinda laugh it off! ...and gradually try to learn how to make things work. I hope you'll all join me on the journey!" Footage of Smash Bros. appeared next. "This here will be kind of a chit-chat episode. I'll talk briefly about a bunch of the franchises in Smash while playing a bit. Give you all more of an idea what games I may play in the future on the channel." 2BIT nodded. Pokemon Violet appeared onscreen next, with a blue-haired trainer riding on Miraidon. "I recorded a stray episode of just randomly playing Violet's postgame. I may do a Scarlet playthrough sometime after Pokemon Home has been updated..." he said as the screen turned off. "And that's all the footage we have now!" Zed walked back in at this point and groaned. "Stripes, WAKE UP! Oh, I quit... I'll stick to drawing..." he sighed. "Errrr... See ya on the 'tube! Bye bye!" 2BIT said, concluding the infomercial.
So, did you just read a 3-paragraph advert for my Youtube channel? ...Yes. I tried to make it silly enough to feel like a regular BIT Squad chapter, anyway.
