An alt of a previous render. Here we see Jaden and Jadex standing together. You can see how big Jadex is right? Yeah, that is just Jadex showing off. What is the fun of being completely identical to your 'source material' anyway? What do I mean by 'source material'?
Jadex is actually A LOT more than just some ultra-dimensional clone of Jaden, as he is a supernatural and powerful shape-shifting entity from an unknown origin. Taking on the appearance of Jaden with reasons also unknown. His abilities are something else, as he can do what Jaden can do, but being what he is, can do them better as well as having many of his own abilities that are outside of Jaden's own. One of them is his growth ability, as unlike Jaden, Jadex can distort or morph his body and his body parts at will, being as small or as big as he likes - as well as big and bulky like in this case, even though he could be a full on twin of Jaden (in form that is) if he wanted to.
As it stands, Jadex chooses to exist as a larger copy of Jaden since, as he has said himself, he cant "be easily contained" - whatever that means. In fairness it works as its the only way you could ever distinguish these two a part besides the differences in eyes, except on that one occasion where he does actually decide to share Jaden's normal proportions and then its like "why do I even bother"?
Speaking of taking on Jadens form, he seems to even share some of Jaden's personality(big question mark here), at least amplified in some cases. At least, to some degree that is. At this point I'm not even certain I would consider him 'evil' by any means more than I would consider him a troll. Although he has abilities and powers that would be considered reserved for demonic entities, such as the ability to possess a body, energy manipulation, telepathy and more. Make your own mind up on that one
I have been asked in the past why I dont just give Jadex some slight design tweaks to set him a part from Jaden, and although it was originally from an area of laziness (IRL that is) it has become a part of his character to be Jadens full on look-a-like and I like it.
