As an advid Dungeons & Dragons player, I started playing solo adventures. Starting at Level 0 and building up from there, I created a Harengon character.
Captured at a young age by slavers and made into an "exotic toy" for cash, he earned his freedom when an unknown group of adventures raided and killed the slavers that held him. One slaver escaped and took him with him, but once his guard was down this bun attacked. He then roamed the land aimlessly until a group of people took him in. They were kind but had sinister intentions. After climbing the ranks, his right-hand man tricked him into a death trap to take his place. Nearly dead, a long forgotten goddess of nature chose to spare him in exchange for some of his memories and to right the wrongs he did while in the cult. Forgoing his old life and name, he accepted the offer after learning the truth of the cultists true purpose. To spead chaos, and bring down the gods that only cater to the wealthy. As noble as it seemed, the cult killed anyone who did not join them, burned towns, and was no better than any other fanatics that wanted only bloodshed for feeling like the world was unfair to them. Now he's on a journey to hunt down his former allies, take down there leaders, and save those whose lives are being destroyed by this cult. Only after defeating the four leaders of each division, and the cult leader of them all, can Dusk fulfill his new duties and be set free from his contact. Every time he takes down a leader, one of his chains breaks off. The first one was his former right-hand that betrayed him. With three more leaders and the head cultists left, Dusk faces a long and bloody road ahead. Still bearing the scars of his past, Dusk will find new allies and new friends along the way. But he alone must journey into this danger, as his fate is uncertain.
It is easy to do a solo campaign, but there are rules and forms out there to help me. It is rewarding and fun, since many of my friends can't game as often as we used to. Perhaps I'll draw more of this bun.
