It makes me mad when people ask if I regret working in a morgue. No, what is there to regret? I get a steady paycheck, health insurance, and retirement. My "clients" never complain no matter what they are put through, and are great listeners too. Although, some of them are rather malodorous. Working in the morgue makes me feel like a contributing member of society. I am fully aware that many people could not or would not do my what I do, but it is a worthy profession. Besides, the night shift has its moments.
