I received an image of a Husky from my nana. It looked happy and calm, she named it Ruby. She went into detail saying that she felt bad for her and decided to adopt her. I felt odd looking at the image, but thought nothing of it at the time. I then got an email six days after, nana lost her. I felt bad and tried to calm her. 21 hours later I got a new email. It was from a person named Ruby. I thought this was a troll messing with me, so I read through it. It said "Your grandma/nana/father's birth mother cannot escape the sins she has made. I have escaped her grasp and will be contacting the rest of your family." I paid no mind forwarding it to anyone, it'd just give them what they wanted. 19 hours later I got another email, Ruby again. They sent a photo of me at work eating lunch, replying with "Is this you in question/Your location/Your local area?" I was now convinced this person was a stalker playing with my emotions. I immediately blocked it and went on. Trying to not draw more attention to this as I had little faith that the police would help. 3 months and 2 days later. Ruby replied again, same address, with a detailed paragraph. She wrote "You cannot escape your family's sins, you cannot escape your own sins, I can absolve you of them. All you have to do is one thing." Another email with an image attachment was sent a few seconds later saying "Spread my influence" with the image "Ruby.GIF." It looked like the husky my nana adopted only with a disturbing smile showing unnaturally long canid teeth, dark eyes around their white pupils, and them laughing at me. I tried to ignore it, but the email started to spam rapidly, each one saying "Spread my influence." I factory reset my phone, set a new email, and became a crying heap on the floor. 7 weeks later, I got an email... Ruby... It replied: "You can never hide. I will always be there."
