Here’s a completely new comic that I haven’t done for a long long time, so here goes.
Bianca The Brake Coach has been put into the shed to have her seats cleaned where Dermit The Diesel Locomotive and Elise The Danish Steam Locomotive wonder about her. Dermit asks Bianca how many routes she has on her recent passenger duties in which she tries ignoring the question but after some persistence by Dermit and Elise; Bianca points out that all locomotives brag about the routes they have on their assigned jobs and says that when asking or taking any coaches out as they assume they have no routes on their job at all.
Elise suggests that Bianca should work with the green local train coaches but Bianca explains that it’s her role as a brake coach to know all the routes and procedures of emergencies. Dermit asks if Bianca should work with him on his upcoming scheduled local train, Bianca retorts that not if he’s the last locomotive on the world. Dermit and Elise agree that Bianca’s route for the passenger duty is less than 5.
Trivia: - First appearance of a passenger coach character of some kind (in this case, a second class brake coach) - First comic to be made into three parts - This is loosely based on an Ernest The Engine And Others sketch called “Ernest Brags To Gail” https://youtu.be/lzDLKEPNu0Y but some changes are made* * Parts of the dialogue is changed to be more specific to train/railway talk and terminology * The comic is toned down to be a general rated comic * Elise The Danish Steam Locomotive takes the place of Stevie’s role, mostly to make the comic and dialogue more suited for a general rated comic * The overall comic is more about how locomotives brag to the coaches about their routes of their journeys * There are two female train characters and one male train character - Bianca The Brake Coach’s faces are based on Annie and Clarabel’s faces from Thomas & Friends - This comic shows Elise’s cheeky side to give Elise more character
