~ Flint too a deep breath as he stood in front of the rooftop door, his hand trembling as he reached for the handle to pull in open, walking through he looked around, it was just after noon on Friday, Ion said he would be here. "Oh, you decided to show up, great!" a cheery voice said as Ion came into view around the corner, he must of used the other stairwell on the other side of the academy, "we... well..." Flint started mumbling, "about the letter... what... what is... your answer?" Flint continued quietly as he looked down and twiddled his fingers, something Ion had noticed he did a lot when he was nervous about something, smiling, Ion walked over to Flint, "Flint, you don't need to worry, my answer is yes, it would have always been yes" Ion said as a stunned Flint slowly lifted his head and eyed Ion, "really? You are sure about that?" he asked as Ion made a chuckle. "Yes I am sure, I knew from even before you gave me the letter" Ion replied as Flint blushed, "wait, then why did you say give me a few days to get your answer? You could of told me when I gave you the letter" Flint asked as Ion made a smile, "well I wanted this moment to be special, I wanted to give myself some time to make this moment perfect for you and plan something to celebrate" Ion answered. "Celebrate?" Flint said confusedly as Ion raised his hands up to his chest in excitement, as he started to blush, 'this weekend... tomorrow, I want... I want to ask you on a date, just the two of us, a belated Valentines but one we can share together" Ion said as he looked straight into Flint's eyes, waiting for an answer now to his question as Flint stared back, feeling warm and fuzzy inside staring into Ion's beaming eyes, he never noticed how much they sparkled to him until just now, "yes... yes of course!" Flint blurted out as his face got redder as Ion smile once more and reached out his hand. Flint took a hold as the two boys walked over to the fence that surrounded the rooftop terrace of the academy, they looked out at the city of Eios and the mountainous valley that surrounded it, while it was always just unsaid, now their feelings, their bond was fully out in the open and entrenched within each other, that they would walk the future together, hand in hand, for however much longer they had together ~

*If you are wondering about the last two alt versions, it just shows depending on which plane of my story you are in, which Ion is the one Flint is encountering, in my main canon (ZER0 Plane), Ion is who he has always been and what you have already been accustom to and in my Looking Glass Plane (LGP) while the events of Ion's life (at least the important parts and adventures) up to and including most paths of my CYOA story Chronicles of Talons, Fangs and Claws (CoTFaC) there is a decision in one path that creates a pinch point where one path keeps you and the events of the res of the story in the ZER0 plane and the other divulges into the LGP, besides the ramifications of the different outcomes from that choice on future events post the CYOA story, a way I am helping distinguish between the planes at least with the events and adventures that are the same is that Ion is trans male in the LGP as him being that way physically doesn't change anything about how the adventures unfold or how his friends react to him and how he conduct himself, as you can look back at all of my Ion's childhood stories and see that no matter how Ion was born, they would be the same no matter the way he was born and give those that want to look back on those stories and maybe see them from the perspective of the LGP as again they are all canon in that plane as well and happen the same way, just under it all Ion is a bit different then the normal canon. Just want to put this out there now as there are things in the works that will take place fully in the LGP as my ZER0 plane and LGP are connected and are a part of my main story together as the LGP will come into play down the road in my main canon as well
