So I’ve been listening to Danger Days and it’s a really fun album. Well, I saw all my friends were doing versions of their characters in that post-apoc universe, so I thought Laurie would fit well (and I jump on bandwagons like woah). It’s not like much needed to be changed or anything.

But then I drew this and gave her a codename (because in the Polyvore set I made, she had a yellow motorcycle jacket) and the whole thing spiraled out of control when Tony pointed out that OBVIOUSLY THIS IS WHAT LAUR DOES AFTER JAMES GOES MISSING AND BECOMES WINTER SOLDIER. She never had a merc name before, I just didn’t think one up.

And thus, everything comes full circle.
