Break his sword and cast it into a gorge
And from his rage he will just reforge
But put out the flames of rage in his soul
And fighting will cease to be his goal
Unlike the phoenix rising forever more
He shall no longer want the tools of war.
What meaning is to be had in one named for a bird?
All kinds of feathered depth nested in a word
For a child of the underground to reach for the sky.
Though I have only claws with which I cannot fly.
The bird who feeds her young that which resembles milk
Produced in her throat, intentions pure as silk
A people who represent the very idea of peace
Antithesis of the hawk, one who wishes war to cease
The kind who held the olive leaf in her beak
Proving there existed a dry mountain peak
In another ancient culture's mythology
Bird of a goddess to those along the Olive Sea
Two, if you count the fact the people of the hoof
Took the gods from their East and made theirs a spoof
Emblem of she who is the embodiment of love
That is why I am the mole they call Goldendove.
