Lil picture I did a while back of Lig and ZeeZee. ^^
Spring was always a pleasant time in Denshire Falls when boys and girls and cubs of all ages got out an enjoyed the nice weather after the long Winter. Sure most cubs got out during the winter and enjoyed frolicking in the snow but it was just too cold to do some things and you could never be sure of the road conditions so long distance travel via road had to be approached carefully. Beyond that who really wanted to be out in the cold driving around to place? Maybe the bundled up cubs wouldn't mind with all their layers and boundless energy to help keep them warm but parents did mind.
But of course now with the winter past and spring well into it's full bloom it was the perfect time to get out and have a good time. Today saw Lig tagging along with ZeeZee and his family on an outing to a Museum not to far out of town. Of course with the warmer temperatures Lig was certainly happy to default to his typical pants free outfit for this outing. Or well at least for the ride anyway. ZeeZee meanwhile was a big boy and big boys wore shorts even out in the car even when it was warm and they might be comfy without. Besides that shorts bad it harder to tell if there'd been any little accidents. Mommies and Daddies may seem to know everything but they don't have X-Ray vision and can't see faded dry signs through shorts.
ZeeZee's mind was of course drifting between all the fun things he'd see at the Museum and how he'd impress everyone with how clever he was. Maybe he'd ask to go potty when they got there even if he didn't have to go just to show that he was a big boy and used the potty and didn't need to be reminded to! Maybe he might even impress Lig who despite being a bit bigger than him was definitely still just an itty bitty bit of a baby who just didn't see the benefits of using the potty over diapers. After all when you used the potty grown ups praised you and said how much of a big clever boy you were!
Lig meanwhile was wonder what sorts of things they'd see out in the museum and was hoping they'd have some big dinosaur fossils! Those were always cool to see and when you stood next to em it made you feel even smaller than you really were cuz no matter how big you are a dinosaur was bigger! Even bigger than grown ups! Maybe they'd have some space stuff too! Like asteroids or old space probes or something. Who knows what all they might have there! Lig was so preoccupied by this thoughts he hadn't noticed how soggy he'd become over the course of the car ride. While ZeeZee might try and constantly pay attention to that stuff it never really crossed Lig's mind. Lig just didn't get the little squirrel. Why would you wanna hold it and be uncomfy and wait to find some potty when you could just wear a diaper and go whenever you wanted and wherever you wanted! Granted Lig didn't exactly have much choice but knew he didn't want to ever give his diapers up even if he could.
It was of course at this time though when Lig did notice something about his diaper area as he dribbled a bit more. He felt a sudden familiar feeling that simply couldn't be overridden and started off with a look of concentration on his face for just a moment as he felt himself tense before giving a quite sigh as he filled the seat of his diaper with a fresh load and another spurt of wetness up front. Lig had a wistful smile on his face as it always felt good to go like that and while some might have minded the squishy mass in their diaper Lig certainly didn't. He leaned back in his car seat with a faint squish before being pulled from his reverie by the squirrel in the car seat next to him.
"Aack what's that smell?!" ZeeZee asked as his sensitive nose twitched.
"Huh?" Lig asked confused for a moment before looking down and gave a bit of a cheeky grin. "Oh. Hehe. I think that's me."
"Eeww! Moooom! Lig Pooped his Pawpers!" ZeeZee called out as Lig tried not to giggle too much.
"Phew. I guess so. Lig sweetie will you be Ok in that diaper for just a bit longer? It's only ten minutes until we get to the Museum." Zena asked him as she knew it simply wasn't practical to pull over so near their destination for this.
"Sure! I don't mind being squishy!" Lig exclaimed with a big grin on his face.
"But mom it's stinky!" ZeeZee protested still covering his nose.
"Don't worry ZeeZee i got ya." Zed said from the driver's seat and put down both back windows to let the car ventilate a bit more. "Better?"
"Uh Huh." ZeeZee nodded though he could still smell his stinky friend who was far too giggly about this.
"Hehe. Sorry. When ya gotta go ya gotta go. It's what diapees are for." Lig told him still trying not to giggle as ZeeZee's nose was still kind of scrunched up.
"But it's aslo what a potty's for! Oh I know! Maybe when we get there after mommy changes you, you could try and use it! Be a big boy like me! Maybe you can even barrow a Pull-Up!" ZeeZee exclaimed hitting on another chance to try and convert the crinkle cub.
"Blah no thanks!" Lig said making a face himself this time at the thought of being sat on a potty. "I'll stick with my diapers thank you very much! I'm big enough. But you know if maybe you wanna try one and remember what it's like."
"No thanks!" ZeeZee said hastily and held up his hands.
"Your both fine wearing and using what you want. Two big boys regardless." Zena chimed him from the front with a smile. She found the two's lil back and forth like this quite adorable. Both always trying to convince the other but neither ever pushing too hard such as to make the other feel bad.
"I guess so." ZeeZee nodded letting it drop as Lig nodded in response.
"So you been here before. Do they have any dinosaurs?" Lig asked ZeeZee curiously.
And with that the topic shifted to the big Brontosaur specimen in one of the Museum's rooms and how cool it was and how neat it'd be to see a real one. Zed smiled himself listening in as he drove as the boys talked about all things dinosaur. Never ceased to amaze him how fast cubs would change gears like that. It was one of the nice things about taking them out. He wondered if maybe getting them each a lil model from the gift shop might be a good idea. It'd certainly be a nice little activity for them once they got home from their fun lil Day Trip.
