a little bit of backstory here, before Amelie was born, Grampa Lucas owned a classic, 1946 Ford Coupe (not unlike the one Biff Tanen owned in BTTF). When He and his wife received the news they would be having a child, he took it upon himself to sell the car and look for something more modern and child safe, like a station wagon, or a gremlin. Thankfully Gramma strong-armed him into getting a truck instead!
