Going on another routine scuba dive, I donned my favorite orca pendant and jumped into the water, only to discover a very friendly female orca swimming right up to me playfully! Not being one to ignore these absolutely marvelous creatures, I reached out and patted her cheek softly, while she patted my back with her flipper in return. My pendant swung back and forth and began to glow brightly, unnoticed by either party.
I soon found myself quickly increasing in size as my body tore right through my scuba suit and the belts holding my air tank! I removed my gloves only to see my hands swelling into flippers, and a tail snaked from the seat of my pants! My face jutted outwards, pushing my air supply aside and a dorsal fin grew from my upper back as the female orca just froze in shock, unsure what to make of this situation that she may have inadvertently set in motion!
My body continued to grow to the size of an adult orca as I continued to panic. My goggles snapped off and floated away and my dorsal fin pushed my air tank towards the female, who grabbed it with her flippers, looking rather annoyed. How long was I going to milk this? I was just turning into one of her species; why wasn't I grateful for the experience?
The remains of my scuba suit held onto my much larger orca body in tatters and my orca pendant stuck to my chest, immobile. Would I never be able to turn back if I couldn't get it off? The female gently snuggled up to me lovingly. She had unintentionally found - nay, created - a new mate, just by being friendly towards me! And she was going to help me adjust to my new life in the ocean.
