This started out as a copy of an older conventional drawn drawing that showed the train without the characters
The characters are added digitally, thus making this a mixed media drawing.

The drawing is of the same train that appeared in the classic movie, Flame Over India.
A mongoose is presently at the controls of the locomotive. He is of an Indian upper class family as indicated by the turban he wears.
The operator's assistant is an Asian leopard, who is presently taking it easy on the wood tender.
The bear is one of the passengers. He came out onto the front boarding deck to have a cigarette.

This will appear on my main account at a later time. All my G rated works appear on this account first.

Reminds me of that baboon that used to operate railway signals in exchange for beer in like 1880 XD

Reminds me of the stories my grandmother told me as a kid. A big train journey or two, a pet leopard, spoke really good Hindi and the heat!

They use steam locomotives in India nowadays I've heard.

Most of them now days are electric, with most electrics being WAP-5 and WAP-7 models. WAP-4 locomotives are older.
There are diesels if a train has to run a route where there are there no overhead electric lines.

I am not aware of any steam engines still in service on Indian Railways.

As far as I am aware, there are still steam engines in use on some rail line routes in Afghanistan.
