"Half-drowned recovery"

This guy was kept underwater for way too long, to the point where he'd ended up breathing water for almost a minute, before finally barely getting to the surface, stumbling forward a few steps and collapsing into a violent coughing fit, his body forcing out the water he'd inhaled. Poor guy, I wonder what happened?

Partly that; he got himself tangled up in seaweed while he was already pushing himself! You can see that in the image after this one.
