Chloe leaned against the headboard of the hospital bed, completely exhausted after having spent the last twelve hours in labour. Yuuma sidled over and cradled her in his arms, slinking one arm around her back and the other to hold her hand while the chubby raccoon gently rocked not one, but two babies in her arms as she shifted to lean into her husband's loving embrace.

"How are you feeling, babe?" Yuuma asked as he caressed her aching body.

"Like hell. We're never going to do this again. I wanted to kill you the entire time I was in the delivery room." Chloe replied with a tired sigh before looking at him with a glare and a blep. He knew she was joking of course. Or well, perhaps half-joking.

"Well, I don't think we'll have to. I mean we ended up with a boy AND a girl. I know that we couldn't decide what we wanted, but I didn't think you were going to get greedy."

"Dork. At least I won't have to put up with your Professor Oak memes now. "

The wah looked down at their newborn son and daughter with a gentle smile, and he reached down with a hand to cup their cheeks in turn while they slept against their mother. Chloe caught the look on his face and brushed her snout against his affectionately.

"So."

"So?"

"Now that they're finally out of the oven, what names shall we give our little hellspawns?"

"Hellspawns? You're clearly looking forward to being a mom." Yuuma chuckles as he looks back down at them whilst one of them gave a yawn. His eyes lid as he pondered the matter for a long while, staying silent for several minutes before meeting her gaze. "Babe, you know how we couldn't decide on whether we wanted a boy or a girl and ended up with both?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, we couldn't decide if we wanted to give them names based on your culture or mine, too. So why don't we follow the running trend and name after both our ideas? "

"So ... Abigail and Chizue for our little girl?" The raccoon asked with raised brows.

"And Matthew and Makoto for our little boy." He replies back with a grin.

Chloe paused for a moment to consider his suggestion, mouthing out the words for a while as she ran their names through her head before smiling warmly. "Abigail Chizue Fujimori, and Matthew Makoto Fujimori. I like it hun, and the middle name sounds alot better than the ones my parents gave me by far. "

"Oh ye of little Fai-."

"Shut it."

The two gave a soft laugh before they snuggled together in bed, gazing down lovingly at their offspring as they each mulled over the future that awaits them. No longer as a couple, but as a family.

I hadn't planned for this initially, but after the last submission of these two taking a new step in their lives, I felt that it was only right to show the birth of their children before I reveal the characters per say. And i'm glad I hired her again to put the idea to paper. <3
