Character Description
Physical traits & Anatomy :
Dawn is a rather feminine looking Western Dragon, however it can be seen that while he is rather thin he is actually quite lean, this is due to his constant exercise and him never over eating.
Dawn also has a small very slim fin that runs from between his shoulder blades to halfway down his tail, this helps him maintain his orientation in the air and also helps with airflow around his body, it is also very useful when he is swimming.
Personality
While rather shy initially Dawn has grown to be a rather outgoing and confidant individual.
Aspirations:
Dawn, being the kind soul he is wishes to travel the world helping people, and potentially mitigating the damage of natural disasters.
Likes/Dislikes
Dawn loves helping people and going on long flights.
He also loves getting any opportunity to show off his abilities and takes great pride in them and the skills he has learned
Background/History
Dawns Backstory:
Dawn is a rather shy Dragon at first, born of a decently large clutch into a loving family his parents raised him to be kind and caring for others and to always try his best to be polite, his family were decently well off but Dawn never took more than he needed, feeling it wrong that he should have soo much spare, when others had little at all.
Out of the clutch, Dawn was one of the runts, hatching from his egg quite thin and frail, leading to his other hatchmates to tease him, not only was he a runt but he was also born with a unusual marking on his face, it appears as three striped patches of jet black scales which are only visible when the light hits them, otherwise they are practically invisible. These markings earned him the name "scratches" which he dislikes.
As Dawn grew up he would become shy, this was the result of the bullying he received as a child, even resulting in a bad crash landing which earned him a scar on his left wing. Dawn often likes to keep to himself, either reading or flying on his own, doing tricks to pass the time.
His incident with the bully would not be the first time he was attacked for his stature or shy demeanor, or even for looking more feminine as he grew older, he keeps a permanent reminder of one night in the fact he is missing the tip of left ear, this only reinforced his shy nature and caused him to develop a coping mechanism of curling a tail round his leg to comfort himself in public.
After his 'awakening', a point in each dragons life where they discover which element they are able to wield (You can read about this here), Dawn's innate ability to control multiple elements got him a lot of praise and attention, which served to help him build up his confidence as he learned to further wield and command his powers in new and exciting ways (Which you can read about this here)
Nowadays Dawn is rather proud of himself and confidant in his abilities, especially after saving his home from a wild storm, however if one pushes his button right you can bring out his more, bashful, side.
over time he would come into contact with other dragons. including one named Lilith, who offered to protect him if he allowed himself to be hers. Through Lilith Dawn would also meet a Griffin named scarlet, who would become Dawns mate and the mother of his own hatchlings.
Relatives/Family
Dawn is part of a large family (that I've yet to flesh out fully)
His mothers name is Bassa and his fathers name is Bevu.
Dawn has multiple siblings and while they tease him his family is vety dear and close to his heart.
World/Setting
Powers & Skills:
As mentioned above Dawn can wield multiple elements, this is rather uncommon in his species as they normally can only wield one, Dawn however has four elements in total at his Disposal; Wind, Lightning, Water and Ice.
Using his lightning, he has been able to manifest a few skills such as crating plasma, and generating magnetic currents.
Dawn has also been known to supercharge his own muscles with electricity to enhance himself and his physical capabilities for a short time.
he also loves generating static electricity to shock people
Using his wind abilities Dawn is capable of reducing drag and air resistance around himself allowing him to accelerate to incredible speeds in really short distances and timeframes, he is also capable of firing off compressed air blasts and generating tornados, as a final resort he is capable of making vacuum blades which are capable of slicing most things with little to no real effort.
He can also create an 'aero-shell' around himself which helps in high or low temperature scenarios and also helps him seal in oxygen for high altitude flight, it also serves another unseen purpose, when flying at different speeds dawn will change the shape of his aero-shell to reduce the airflow around his body which can allow him when he combines his powers to achieve astonishing speeds, however he has yet to break the supersonic barrier.
While they may not be his most powerful abilities Dawn is still very proud of his Ice and water skills also.
Using both his ice and water dawn can reduce traction on most surfaces as well as cooling himself off in extreme heats, making it capable for him to help with wildfires and and the very occasional volcanos.
Dawn his also on occasion used a combination of his ice and lighting power to rapidly cool and then re-heat the air round him or at a chosen point causing it to collapse and then rapidly expand outwards causing an explosion.
Body
Dawn has a few distinguishing markings and features as well as a few scars that he has earned over his life:
Of course there is his his rather signature claw like markings that can be observed on his face when in the light.
He also has a black stripe that runs from the back of his neck all the way down his back and to the tip of his tail, this is always present
Dawn is the only one of his clutch that took his father jet white hair, the rest took their mothers two tone black and blue hair.
Dawn also has some small spikes over his eye ridges which very few of his clutch have.
Dawn also has a scar on his left wing and is missing the tip of his left ear.
Clothing
Dawn wears very little in the way of clothes his species are very open about their bodies his only real items of clothing are his scarf which was given to him by his mate scarlet, and his leather gauntlets which he got on the day of his awakening,
