NICE ONE! When I was in the military, we weren't really allowed to have coffee. However I volunteered to attend two Soldier Appreciation days at local churches, and we finally got to have coffee and sweets! ^^

Really? We have ridiculous amounts of coffee and energy drinks, and I even took caffeine pills x3 Likely because I'm a sailor, not a soldier ;p How long were you in?

I have proof from Captain Hightower (one of the doctors who observed me) that I do have scoliosis. Before I was sent home, a civilian doctor fucked me and other battle-buddies over; I'm currently 20%. That asshole civvy claimed one of my ailments occurred before I enlisted.
It was during Confidence Course that I banged my shin real bad; was on crutches for 3 days. As training went on, I developed the stress fractures, etc. X-rays showed nothing, but once I had a bone scan that was it for me. Spent recuperating from bay to bay until I received an honorary medical discharge. The Army pays me forever for my injuries.

Sorry to hear about the horrible injury, but you got lucky on landing the honorable med discharge. Lucky meaning that they could've stuck you with nothing.
