Character Sheet for Rusty
Character Description
Rusty is a three and a half year old toddler puppy who lives with the paw patrol in Adventure Bay.
Personality
Like most toddlers, Rusty is a playful and happy-go-lucky puppy. He’s very loving and sweet and is always eager to help out, just like the other pups. Unlike most toddlers though, Rusty has a rather mature attitude and outlook on life. Being adopted, tries very hard to be grateful for all he has and sometimes fears that he will be sent away if he doesn’t contribute. His adopted family strongly discourages this thinking though and slowly but surely he’s beginning to let go of his fear.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes: hanging and playing with the pups, being loved and praised by them, helping out, feeling like a big boy, playing with his toys
Dislikes: being teased or picked on, being yelled at, making others feel bad, fighting, feeling lonely and abandoned
Background/History
Rusty came from an orphanage in Adventure Bay. He was left there as a tiny baby; there’s no information about his parents and he has no memory of them. Looking for potential recruits, Ryder came to the orphanage one day shortly after Rusty turned 3. Rusty already knew all about the paw patrol and idolized them, so he was excited to see Ryder. Taking a shine to him, Ryder decided to adopt him, and Rusty’s been living with them ever since.
Relatives/Family
Like mentioned above, there’s no information about Rusty’s biological parents. He considers Ryder his caretaker and the pups his big brothers and sisters.
World/Setting
He lives at the lookout in the coastal town of Adventure Bay.
Body
Rusty is a mixed breed, mostly German Shepherd, looking a lot like Chase. He has a rather lanky toddler body, with a long floofy tail and tufty headfur. His most standout feature is his bright blue puppy eyes.
Clothing
Given that he’s not an official member of the paw patrol yet, Rusty doesn’t have a uniform or pup tag yet like the pups. He’s also in the middle of potty training, so he wears a diaper or pull-up all the time. He’ll usually go around in just his diaper or pull-up, but will wear a shirt or other clothes when needed.
