Some long time ago (I've given up trying to remember when I did these, forgive me for callously forgetting my own history like this.) I believe I drew the first picture, a bunch of horses taking a break in a stable. Then I believe someone commissioned me to do two more, which I vaguely remember being more than happy to oblige.
I suppose the idea is that it is your average restroom sort of break, but perhaps they have people to take care of stalls just the same. Which includes keeping to a strict schedule; in some way this process is just much more efficient.
