Sometimes the beauty of nature can be a little confusing. I was at the beach earlier and in the low hanging sunshine the sky seemed to draw this painting of lavender blue transcending into yellowish blue in a way that defied colour theory. I guess that's because in colour practice nature isn't as ordered as our brains would consider it true. I guess that's why relative randomness will look better than many would like to believe. The too good to be true is often more true than organized diminishment.

I say she looks more in awe than confused. Not only is it a well-done depiction, I find it interesting in 2 ways: -- We get to admire Pinky as she admires something else; how fun is that! -- How many things have ever, & can ever, render Pinkie Pie so awestruck, dumbfounded, QUIET? = the original sonic rainboom when she was a filly = the sonic rainboom at the Young Flyers Show = the Poison Joak tongue/'Zecora's curse' might count = something 'normal' in nature? (or at least an indirect product of pegasus weather-works!) = maybe something 'about 20% cooler', like Dashie & Scootie enjoying themselves on a passing cloud, eg as shown in some of your other works! =~_^= (In that scenario, I wonder how long it will take her to shake it off & either try to join in or zip off to find someone to play with! We know she has no compunction about trying to form a threesome as with RD & Gilda.)

And heeh.. I guess if she accidentally stumbled upon such a thing it might take her some time to figure out what exactly was going on! Maybe she'd go home, sneak into her room, and douse herself in syrup. :D
