A gift from a dear friend, with a little bit of an explanation (with some paraphrasing, I hope I get the gist of it right!) as to the situation:
Leena the kangaroo comes from a family that have, let's just say, a bit of a superiority complex. They don't like when individuals of their kind mingle with other species, "thinning the bloodline". You can already tell that such mingling affected her genetics, with mammalian features instead of a true, pure marsupial genome. Leena, though, was always fighting against that notion, as she really loves meeting other species and seeing what they all are capable of doing, that kangaroos simply cannot. Her free spirit attitude has gotten her in trouble more than once in her upbringing, but her tenacity and persistence, coupled with her natural curiosity and sense of wonder about the rest of the world, always leads her to go out and meet new people, and to have a bit of fun all around.
So, naturally, when she meets a certain lizard who had a similar upbringing, they hit it off quite well. Leena isn't against being physical to show affection like what you see above, and Venge is able to hold her up quite well for a moment of... well, getting to know this roo gal a bit closer! >w<
