The Jar
Dooon't get me started on tilting the head up and down. That is 2 difficult.

You will recognize this "correct" face from the post just before this one.

The advice of "focusing the pupils" have been repeated to death in other lessons I've come across, but it is absolutely free for me to include it here, so there you have it.

I might do one specifically on what constitutes "attractive" facial proportions. These are a matter of style and what character you're drawing, but the lines above should somewhat show what I believe come close to "epitomal attractive" proportions.

I should perhaps reiterate that aligning the nose and chin with the point between the eyes only applies absolutely in full frontal view. The exercise still applies: find the point where they *would* be beneath the eyes *then* account for the depth of the snout. A common mistake all onto itself is rotating the head and not applying any depth to the snout at all.

I honestly should some day. I've covered all the bodies anatomy and ways to simplify the muscle groups.

And I've done fuck-all to study muscles, so you can't rely on me to cover the topic ;)

Maybe there's hope for me in the art world after all. If I was drawing symmetry lines, they'd be straighter than... Whatever the opposite of me is, I guess, lol.

There is absolutely hope for *everyone*, if only they discover a proper way to tackle the problem. Drawing parallel lines is as good a place to start as any.

These are excellent. I'm going to share these with the traditional artists friends I know.

I suppose this works better for traditional artists, as it gives them a way around not having an easy "mirror"-function.
By all means, share away.
