Unfortunately for Hao, the moment he took to savor that thought was the exact moment Yoh’s brain kicked into overdrive.
Suddenly, Hao’s hand wasn’t anywhere near Yoh’s butt at all. The shift in Yoh’s position from being turned away from him to spinning around and facing him was almost too swift. He felt like he might as well have been dreaming again.
“I feel it! Whoever’s there is powerful so I’m NOT holding back!” Yoh snapped, shouting this aloud as he unsheathed his sword the instant he turned around and let his power surge. He burst through with his Oversoul and made one tremendous mighty swing down the center.
Hao was too close. He didn’t have time to mentally adjust to what Yoh was doing, much less move away.
When his gloves disintegrated it had the added effect of momentarily freezing him. That was bad because the rest of the slash demolished the entire front of his outfit too!
“HAA!” Yoh slid back and stood there with his sword raised, leering at the person who dared pants him. That’s when his eyes got even more steely and upset. “Oh… I see now.”
It was his brother. Of course it was. It was interesting how Yoh didn’t catch who it was until after his attack had already landed. That made things far more embarrassing for Hao, considering Yoh did this without even needing to accommodate for who he was fighting.
No. Instead, one slash was all it took to demolish the entire front of his outfit.
“W-Wha–?!” Hao stammered before Yoh made a few more strikes. “HAAAYEEK!” He screamed, doubling back and now stricken with fear.
Suddenly, the first half of Hao’s plan had been turned onto him. He stood there with shreds of his outfit fluttering in the breeze with his cowboy underoos on open display for Yoh and whoever was likely to walk by to see!
“I showed you my undies. It’s only fair you show me yours.” Yoh said, leering straight at him with his grip tightening on his sword. He looked and felt unamused. It was scary.
This couldn’t be happening!
He had a four step plan and he couldn’t even finish the first step of said plan before this happened! This shouldn’t have even happened at all, actually!
Hao was blushing and momentarily frozen. He, however, grit his teeth and began growling. The sweat covered face that was flushing with embarrassment leaned forward to get back up in Yoh’s personal space.
“An eye for an eye, brother,” Hao snapped. He produced his weapon next, flames spewing from his blade as he charged forward.
