Artwork (with permission of the artist Pegius) of Kung Fu Panda: Tigress - Miss Gongmen (2022-12-18).
A few weeks ago, I stumbled across Pegius' artwork and it felt a bit like coming home, since he draws a lot of - for me - balanced muscular women - and Master Tigress is one of them *_*
So I was really happy to get permission of recoloring and today I was in the mood or emotional need of such a strong Tigress :'-)
Here and for me, Tigress is at my limit of being muscular, just because of Chinese 'body'-philosophy with Taoism with more reference to qi and the Confucian social perspecte that influenced art where "the 'image of a body as a whole object, [...] as a solid and well-shaped entity whose shapeliness is supported by the structure of a skeleton and defined in the exteriority of swelling muscle and enclosing flesh' is absent" (see Xu, 1999: 968f.).
Also, I tried my best to add a matching background to a biceps flexing Tigress: She became Miss Gongmen :D I know I am kind of bad at drawing, perspectives and dimensions are being odd/wrong, but maybe people who knew KFP 2 can grasp the intended atmosphere ^^'''
