Sonic Christmas Exploit Chapter One
It was Christmas Eve. Sonic was lying in bed. When he woke up, he looked out the window and saw a lot of snow outside. He smiles as he watches the snowfall.
Sonic: Wow! Look at all the snow!
(Sonic jumps out of bed and went to get his winter outfit on)
Sonic: Looks like I got everything I need. I think I'll go for a walk.
Sonic opens the front door and walks outside. He walks through town as the snowflakes fell. As he is walking, he saw Cream and Vanilla building a snowman together. He also noticed the Chaotix having a snowball fight with Silver, Blaze and Marine. Sonic then passed by a cafe when he heard a familiar voice.
Voice: Hey, Sonic! Over here!
Sonic looks behind him and smiles. He saw Amy Rose walking towards the cafe. He then gave her a hug.
Sonic: I see you're in a good mood.
Amy: You bet. Look at all this snow!
Sonic: It sure is lovely.
Amy: Want to head inside the cafe? I was thinking about getting something to drink.
Sonic: Sure, I'm in.
When they walked inside the cafe, they saw Knuckles and Tails over by one of the tables. They also noticed Tangle, Whisper and Jewel having a conversation by another table. Big was over by the counter, serving coffee and donuts to some of the customers when he noticed Sonic and Amy.
Big: Welcome, Sonic and Amy.
Sonic: Hi, Big.
Big: What would you like?
Amy: Coffee, please.
Big: Coming up.
(Sonic and Amy walked over to Knuckles and Tails who were having some donuts)
Sonic: What's up, guys?
(Knuckles and Tails looked behind them)
Both: Hey, Sonic.
Sonic and Amy took their seats next to Knuckles and Tails. After Big gave Sonic and Amy their coffee, Knuckles and Tails offered some of the donuts they received to them, and they began chatting about their plans for when Christmas comes.
Amy: So, any news today?
Knuckles: Now that you mention it, I heard Shadow come to town the other day.
Amy: I wonder why he's here.
Tails looks at the clock and remembers something.
Tails: Hey, guys. I remembered something.
Sonic: What is it, Tails?
(Tails took a quick sip of coffee)
Tails: There is going to be a town meeting in five or so minutes.
Sonic: Well, in that case...
(Sonic takes one last sip of his coffee before setting it down)
Sonic: We better go!
(The others agreed and left the cafe)
Five minutes later, a lot of people arrived for the town meeting. Sonic and a lot of his friends noticed Sally Acorn along with Bunnie, Antoine, Mina, Rotor and Julie-Su on a large stage.
Sally: I have regret to inform all of you that Station Square doesn't have enough money to pay for this year's Christmas festival.
Vanilla: Does that mean that the festival will be cancelled?
Sally: No. Fortunately, these people have volunteered to run the festival.
Chris turns to five silhouette figures. They walked onto the stage, revealing themselves to be Shadow, Rouge and the Babylon Rogues.
Tails: It's Shadow and Rouge!
Amy: And the Babylon Rogues are with them, too.
(Shadow clears his throat)
Shadow: Now that we're in charge, there will be lots of changes around here. There will be more rules and the punishments will be more severe.
(Rouge and Wave walked off)
Jet: To show you all that we are serious, Rouge and Wave will launch Cream the Rabbit from a catapult.
Rouge and Wave were standing by a catapult with Cream inside of it and they were about to launch her from it. The entire crowd gasped at what they saw. Vanilla shocked by seeing her daughter in this current situation, climbed onto the stage. She then got in front of the catapult and held out her arms, hoping to stop them.
Vanilla: I won't let you hurt my daughter! Let her go!
(Rouge and Wave looked at each other and smiled)
Suddenly, Vanilla was on a catapult with Cream.
Cream: Well, you tried, mom.
Vanilla: I know, Cream.
Wave: Now, Rouge and I are going to launch these two rabbits into the sun.
Storm: Uh... I hate to say this, but I don't think the catapult has that far of range.
(Jet sighs in annoyance)
Jet: Just launch them wherever, then!
Wave: As you wish.
Rouge: Enjoy the flight, girls.
Rouge and Wave fired the catapult, sending Cream and Vanilla flying out of the city and through the snowstorm.
(Shadow turns to the rest of the crowd)
Shadow: This meeting is over!
Miles away from Station Square, Cream and Vanilla were sent flying in the air by the catapult. Suddenly, they landed in a pile of snow. Vanilla managed to pull herself out of the snow when she noticed Cream was still stuck in it.
Vanilla: Cream, are you okay, dear?
Cream: Define "Okay".
(Vanilla grabs Cream's legs and pulls her out of the snow)
Cream: Thank you for that.
Vanilla: You're welcome.
Cream and looked around, but all they saw was snow.
Vanilla: Where are we?
Cream: Far away from Station Square from the looks of it.
Vanilla: So, what do we do now?
Cream: Find a way home.
Vanilla: In that case, let's go, Cream.
Cream: Right behind you.
Cream and Vanilla started walking through the snow, hoping to find their way home.
