I had the idea that a ghost would simply phase through someone and have their clothes phase through their body. Misdreavus is a ghost type, and can float, and isn't too large. This also demonstrates how I imagined her wearing knee-length stockings.
They are side by side, and a misdreavus really is that large compared to a cinderace, if you measure the height from the feet to the highest tip of each character.
