Last month I went with some friends to Palisades Tahoe (known before as Squaw Valley), California, USA. I got to ski for first time in my life. It was difficult but my friends were very patient with me (also they were really good teachers).
Definitely a very fun weekend!!

While we were there, there were times I was sitting with a coffee with a great view to the mountains, and I got to do some outdoor paintings with the ipad to study the lighting and colors. The first one was during the morning (around 9am) and the second one an hour before sunset (around 4pm).

Lake Tahoe is a remarkable formation. The surroundings are gorgeous year-round.

I live in Sacramento! You’ve captured both times of day just perfectly, especially the later one! That light on the snow is difficult to replicate. Well done ^^

That looks really beautiful! I used to go skiing a lot out there over in Incline Village. It's been 14 years since the last time I went skiing out there or at all... But I ice skated when I went to Squaw Valley. Fun times! 😌

I remember living just west of Tahoe a ways as a kid, thats some of the prettiest country I've ever been to. The lake itself is beautiful, definitely need to go back there someday.

Also, you did a very good job capturing the view!
