After losing almost everything she had ever known that one fateful day, Elwyna and her adoptive father figure Marcel regularly moved from town to town, from village to village. This nomadic life didn't allow little El much chances to build any lasting friendships. However, when she was 13 winters old, she met a rabbit boy, whom she found almost instant connection. Their friendship blossomed that summer. After the autumn began to near, she had to change locations again, but before that she vowed to return the next year. And so fall came, then winter. El had felt the bite of frost many times before, yet this time it was something different, it felt so much harder to bear.
After the winter snows melted and the first flowers began to sprout from the ground, she returned to the small village where her friend lived. Their reunion was heartfelt. Spring made way for the summer and during that their bond deepened as they spent many tender moments together. El felt it deep in her heart, this was more than any friendship, this was love. In the moments like these as they looked deep into each others' eyes, they lost the sense of time, like there wasn't anything else besides themselves.
