You wave goodbye to the rest of your family as you are led into the daycare. The nurse holding your hand leads you past the door to the “big kid’s” playroom. It’s not your destination though. The crinkling between your legs reminding you of where you are actually going. Soon enough you come to the brightly colored door of the daycare's nursery. And are ushered inside by the daycare attendant.
You look around the brightly colored room. You're early. The only other "kid" there is currently sleeping in one of the cribs in the adjacent nap room.
"Hold on one second." Begins the nurse. She quickly takes off your skirt. Leaving your damp diaper exposed. You blush slightly as she checks your diaper. She feels the dampness, but finding it only a little wet, she motions you to go play. A change can wait. You notice that she doesn’t offer to give you back your skirt, but the allure of playtime pushes any thoughts of embarrassment away.
You grab a box full of wooden blocks. Your friend’s may not be here yet, but that doesn’t mean that you have to wait to start having fun! And so, you slowly start turning a pile of blocks into a mighty castle! One that can withstand any siege!
As your castle walls get higher, you don’t notice your diaper sagging lower. But that's ok. Because it's not your problem to deal with.
