〘 l e i g h 〙

I have so many ideas but I can never decide on an animal!!!
All of them are perfect for their own reasons.
There are so many I love but can't decide on a character for them or which one to start with Q.Q
I have a poll on twitter if you want to help me decide on there.
For far I want to draw
lynx  |  arctic fox  |  pine marten  |  mouse lemur
as well as
ring tail lemur  |  wolverine  |  raccoon  |  panda | coyote
plus
I am trying to find an animal that is either albino, or naturally white, and larger than a coyote.

maybe you can help me decide on what animal to start with?

Don't put too much pressure on yourself.  This isn't something you have to worry about too much.  You don't have to absolutely commit to a single animal entity or design your entire life.  Yes, many furries keep the fursona for a long time, but not all do.  Some have changed them over the years as they themselves have grown and changed.  There are even some who have multiple, switching between them, based on the fandom, the season, or their mood.

As such, don't force yourself to commit to one right off.  Take some time, do some doodles, and experiment with the concepts.  Draw multiple versions, with different creatures and markings.  After a while, think about what you do and don't want consistently, as well as look at the art and  notice what patterns you might be repeating in all your work.

You might settle on just one, eventually, or you might have a small number you switch between.  Which ever is the case, you will feel comfortable with the results as a representation of who you are, and if you change, don't be afraid to change them as well.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give me advice!!
My main, leigh, is a shape shifter so i can draw whatever. Drawing her is so easy because she is me Q.Q
Creating a character somehow makes me feel responsible for them?? I feel bad for changing anything.

Wow really thank you for writing this. You seriously helped me. :3
I just realized I feel like their mom.
Now I know what I need to work on
