Character Description
A small and curvaceous pink dragon who works as a dragon research assistant for Prof. Prodigy Skyfire. He also assists Strawberry Skyfire with her sexual potion research.
Personality
Kind, easy to get along with. Openly feminine and is a bit of a flirt. However, despite his open flirty manners, he is easy to get flustered.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes: Dressing in cute clothes, his girlfriend Dahlia, working alongside Prodigy and Strawberry, vanilla cupcakes with heart-shaped ruby gemstones* (Sugarcube Corner specifically stocks their shelves with those specific gemstones cause he always orders thaf specific snack.). He also loves sour grape bubblegum. He likes the kind that has sour flavoring, but turns sweet after a little bit of chewing. He enjoys going flying under star-filled skies. He also enjoys a good meal at Hayburgers. He loves reading, dancing, listening to music, and singing too.* (Of course he loves singing. Being around the Professor, he was bound to love singing. He’s a big fan of the boy band group Prodigy is part of.) He also enjoys cooking. He also loves gaming too. He tends to join Strawberry and the other members of the Cutie Mark Crusaders during their video game nights.
Dislikes: Dragons making fun of his height. He feels like he has the prime figure that makes him absolutely adorable.
Background/History
It was a bit of a chance encounter that Beryl was even born. His egg was found during one of Prodigy’s excursions in the dragon homelands, all alone and abandoned. He couldn’t just leave the poor thing alone, so he brought it back to Ponyville where he showed it to the two only other individuals who could tell him what could be done about this lonely child: Twilight Sparkle and her own assistant, Spike. Twilight told him all she knew about taking care of a dragon egg, and coupled with his own research, Prodigy went and hatched the egg all on his own, and named the young dragon Beryl. One thing Prodigy was always curious about was the aging cycle of dragons, so it was an astounding feat to learn that a dragon ages quite quickly in comparison to the average pony lifespan. In a matter of four years, Beryl was a full grown adult…..albeit with a stunted growth. *(Prodigy note: Seems like all of Beryl’s growth is going directly to his ass. What is it with me and having kids with huge asses around here?!)
As Beryl grew up, he became accustomed to his life in Ponyville, to the point that he even gained a girlfriend, Dahlia Rose. One thing is certain about him though: he truly does love living in this town.

World/Setting
Body
Pink and light yellow scales, having yellow scales that look like freckles on his face and body. He has yellow spikes that are always styled like a short-cut hairstyle. He has a light yellow underbelly that goes along the inner thighs to his ass and tail. He has yellow paw pads on his hands and feet, the biggest pad on his hands and feet are in the shape of a heart. He has bright blue eyes and light yellow spikes that goes down the length of his back and tail. His tail has a heart-shaped tip. He also has two small horns on the top of his head. Finally, he has two medium-sized pink dragon wings, the inner portion of his wings are the same shade of yellow as his scales.
Clothing
He normally wears a a Victorian barmaid corset top as well as a pair of shorts and a pair of purple flip-flops. There is a daisy pin on the top of each flip-flop. He also wears a white bow that is always tied in his hair at all times.* (The bow is his most treasured possession. It’s actually a piece of Prodigy’s labcoat that Beryl converted into a bow.)
Alternatively, he wears a black and white sweater bodysuit as well as a pair of black knee-high socks and a pair of brown boots.
Accessories
He wears a rope necklace that has a crystal shard attached to it. The crystal shard is actually a part of the egg he was hatched from.
