In Sonic X Battle Fever J's plot, when Sally Acorn is injured in battle with a vampire monster, fellow agent Tangle, who trained under Agent Nigel Acorn, Sally's father, the Lemur takes up the mantle of Miss America after being summoned during an investigation in South America done by the same monster. Once Sally is healed, she decides to return to America to accept an offer to train new agents, and decides that Tangle will take her place on the team.
