Ooooh, Absol is a beast, too. I usually go entirely Dark-types, and Absol is a special case as I usually raise two of them; one Special, one Physical. The physical is usually carrying a Razor Claw and has Super Luck, and has moves like Night Slash, Psycho Cut, erc - massively boosted Crit chance. All EV's in Speed and Attack, naturally, but with a jolly nature since I want him out-pacing everything he can.
For the special attacker, however, I usually give the mega stone, and he gets thunderbolt, icebeam, flamethrower, and dark pulse - Modest nature, as its mega-evo gets a massive speed boost anyway..
A friend of mine is all Water-Type, and I can have difficulty with that as the only Dark/Electric type kinda sucks... I swept him with my Special Mega Absol X3

I have a hard time going entirely 1 type. Whenever I catch a cool looking pokemon, I always want to train it up! My parties are pretty diverse because of that. It's so hard to pick! That said, I defiantly have favorite types (Dark & Flying).
