It was long overdue but I have now my own custom model for Jaden. No longer shall be just a recolour of Sonic. Best bit is, he has his REAL EYE COLOUR, goodbye goes to Sonic's emerald green eyes. Jaden has taken the contact lenses off at long last!
This model was actually an emergency "out of hours" commission I got from
or SaiyanGoku4, as he wasn't actually taking them at the time. I commissioned him in October for Halloween. The original intent behind this commission wasn't actually to get this far. The thing is, unlike other parts of a model, eyes textures arent so easy to alter on the fly within Source Filmmaker, they need to be changed from within the model's files. This can be annoying since most of my OC's are recolours of Sonic's Kabalmystic model, and changing his eyes can change every characters' eyes. Not helpful if you want two characters, with two distinctive sets of eyes in the same shot. This was the crux of a little something I was wanting to make for Halloween. That something became Jaden's "clone" Jaden.exe or Jadex.
I cant actually thank HiroshiSan enough. On it's own, my own model of Jaden is helpful since I dont need to spend too much time setting him up anymore (aka, adding custom textures which can take its time), I can load Jaden into SFM and start working with him immediately. But it's even better since HiroshiSan has added a few more details to Jaden's model. AKA, his EXE Clone Jadex is easy to swap in with a simple right-click toggle and Jaden has a bonus wardrobe accessory I plan to introduce in future.
