I'll explore this concept at some point, because it seems all stories /pictures I run across of it have Sonic be MY LIFE IS RUINED, SULKING 4EVR NOW. Sure, it might actually slow him down permanently. But in my view he was never about speed so much as groove anyway, and he won't lose his groove because he loses his legs. It might take some re-evaluation, but he'd find a way to keep moving.

EDIT: also pardon all the graph paper. But I'm a mess and it's posting half-done stuff or nothing.

And this is reminding me of Eyes. Nothing will stop that hedgehog from running. He might get slower, but he'll never stop.

How do you load so much into a single, simple image? That always makes me want to search for the secret you hold so I can claim it for my own greedy ambitions! Alas, you're too good at hiding it in nuance- which may be the point. *snicker*

I would very much like to see this play out in some kind of story form or some such- seeing how he dealt with the whole thing, reassuring others not to be 'careful' around him with words or anything like that... it's so full of potential. :3
