I wanted Mina Mongoose and Tiara B in a fic I'm planning, but my cast was getting too big to pay the proper attention to everyone (and I'm iffy about using Tiara for being a privately owned character), so I slimmed it down with this semi-expy /replacement.
These are very first-draft-y and I'm making changes already, but I felt like sharing. Not sure how interested anyone is in these kinds of sketches.

Will probably make her eyes lighter blue and darken her fur.

Minerva /"Nerve". Egyptian mongoose. Daughter of an archeologist; aristocrat family. "Lady of adventure" /tomb raider, singer, rival of Sonic in a few areas, including speed. Bit spoiled, likes attention. Has about the same level of reverence for authority as Sonic, she's just prone to side-stepping the rules rather than butting her head against them.
On stage, Sonic is the better dancer; Nerve is the better singer. In racing, you never can tell.

But you've said you don't want notes of background, and that's all I have for that fic right now! Craptons of them, granted (and stray dialogue fragments that are "mental notes" only I can decipher) I can't start writing the first chapter yet; I had to re-organize everything after I merged the different fic ideas, and the new fic is a complete re-hash! XD

But if you're OK with getting a synopsis, I can put that together (halfway there) next week. :p

To elaborate here: I have a six Parts of three Acts each plan at the moment, with each Act being estimated to contain roughly fifty chapters. it's, uh, kinda big. but I don't mind sending you all I've got! you're the one who said you don't wnat it in that form. :p

can't make a full synopsis this next week because that's when I have to final-edit my work on the dictionary project I'm an assistant on.
But the week after that, I could find the peace for it.

Not like I'm doing any better. "The Three Posts" is getting bigger and bigger every minute.

But a synopsis would be nice. Take your time. I'm just wondering if I'll ever see it, at this point...

Of course you are gonna see it! :p But I'm battling anxiety and depression, trying to hold down a job, and that's prio 1.

I wouldn't doubt it! I'd make it priority number 1 if I had a job, too. Like I said, take your time. I just thought you had managed to clear the knots, by now. If you need help with the backstory, I can probably help, too. I really don't mind it.

Agh, my god, she's SO PRETTY. I love her eyes and her colors and her hair and just- if she were a doll in the girly-girls section of the toy store, I would push little kids out of the way just to get one. <3
