Firefox: First Team Up
In Cinnibar High School, Foxy was with her friends, Venus, the vulpix, and a litten, Lily, and talking about Firefox.
"Have you seen how Firefox took out Rocket Meowth," Venus asked.
"Yeah, and the shocking part is that Firefox is the daughter of the original," Lily replied.
"Which means we have a new girl taking her mom's mantle," Foxy said.
"The wierd part is Firefox looks a lot like you, Foxy," Lily said.
"That's a coincidence. I mean, do I look like the heroic type," Foxy said embarrassed.
"True but looks can be deceiving. Maybe I should start looking for the truth," Lily said.
"Now, Lily, let's not jump to conclusions," Venus said, as she saw Foxy run away.
Later, Foxy took her school uniform off and put on a white shirt with a red heart and orange shorts as she laid on the bed.
"Man, I can't believe Lily is getting suspicious. I have to throw her off the trail," Foxy said as her mom overheard her.
"Why not tell her," Brandy asked.
"Because if I did, there's a good chance she could be a target for any supervillain who wants my head," Foxy said.
"I understand. But I have been hearing about another heroine appearing in Saffron," Brandy said.
"You mean that Espeon heroine people call Psygirl? She has basically been fighting crime longer than I have," Foxy said.
"But still, it would not hurt to meet her," Brandy said.
"You're right. Firefox, ignition," Foxy said as he raised her wand over her head, a ring of fire forming at her toes and rising up, changing her clothes into her leotard and then forming into her tiara. Using her powers, she teleported into Saffron, where she saw it was bigger than Cinnibar City.
"Whoa, Saffron is big," Firefox said.
"Mainly because the Silph Corporation is based here," a voice said as Psygirl came. She was an Epseon wearing purple sleeveless leotard with red shorts, blue gloves, and wearing a red mask and cape.
"Whoa, Psygirl," Firefox said.
"I see my reputation as a heroine is spreading. And you must be Firefox. I saw you on the news. Good word stopping Rocket Meowth," Psygirl said.
"Thanks. Even though I came here for advice on how to throw a friend off a trail. You see, she's about to find out my secret identity," Firefox said.
"I know how you feel. With my psychic powers, I can easily make a double pretending to be my alter ego, Esper Espeon, when my friends keep getting hot on my trail," Psygirl said.
"I see. Sadly, I don't have psychic powers, only fire powers," Firefox said when she suddenly heard an explosion.
"Looks like trouble. Firefox, would you like to team up," Psygirl said smiling.
"Sure, I could help you while I'm here," Firefox said as the two girls headed for the bank. They saw an evil Chespin using seed bombs to get into the vault.
"A mad bomber robbing banks? That is new," Firefox said silently.
"True. That's the seed bomber himself, Chester Chespin," Psygirl said.
"You fought him before," Firefox asked.
"No, but I heard he's wanted for illegal experiments turning seeds into explosives," Psygirl said. As the two got closer, they saw Chester plant a bomb onto the vault door.
"This EMP seed should short circuit the electrical lock and alarm," Chester said.
"Not so fast, evil one," Psygirl said as she jumped on top of a desk.
"Who are you," Chester said as he got a seed bomb ready.
"I am the hope of Saffron City's future. I am Psygirl," Psygirl said as she posed.
"And I am the heroine of Cinnibar City, Firefox," Firefox said as she posed with her wand.
"What? Two girls playing superhero dress up? Isn't it past your bedtime," Chester asked in a mocking voice.
"Says the guy who's making a withdrawal past business hours," Firefox said as she points her wand at Chester.
"Hey, didn't your mother tell you not to point stuff at people? They may do stuff like this," Chester said as he threw some seed bombs at Firefox, who shot off her ember at them, causing them to detonate before they could reach her.
"Whoa," Psygirl said.
"Fire? That's the one thing that makes my seed bombs detonate prematurely," Chester said in shock as he ran, only for Psygirl to use her psychic powers, making Chester run into an invisible wall.
"He hit nothing," FireFox said.
"I know. This is my Reflect power. It makes a wall of light that can not only stop a villain's escape, but also deflect any attacks back at them," Psygirl said as she jumps up and her eyes glow, making Chester tired.
"I got to escape, but I'm so sleepy," Chester said as he sleeps, as the EMP seed starts to beep rapidy.
"Psygirl, the seed is going to blow," Firefox said in shock.
"Then let's team up to stop it," Psygirl said as she used Tekekinesis to lift the seed off the vault door and throws it into the air. Firefox fired off Ember as it hits the seed, making it go off while in the air.
Later, Firefox and Psygirl shake hands as the two go their seperate ways.
"Thanks for the help, Firefox. You have the potential to be the best hero you can," Psygirl said.
"Thanks, but what about Lily," Firefox asked.
"You know, I bet she can be a sort of teammate. I believe she could use this," Psygirl said as she revealed a mask that looks like a masked wrestler's
"A luchador mask," Firefox said.
"Legends says whoever is pure of heart and wears this mask gains the strength of the legendary luchador hero, Lucha Ligre. I think Lily sounds like that girl," Psygirl said.
"I see. Thanks, Psygirl," Firefox said as she made a portal back to Cinnibar City and entered, taking the mask as she has a new task given to her: recruiting her first partner.
