Bubbly, excitable, and a never-ending pool of energy. Momo is down for whatever, as long as it's fun. Cutesy 'rocker-girl' energy.

Background/History

Momo used to be a tiny shy girl. She was a bit tomboyish and in grade school didn't have many friends. She thought she had to pick between being a tomboy or being girly, and opted for the former. That is, until she met her now best friend, Cherri, who helped her figure out a 'why not both?' mentality.

The two have been inseparable ever since, whether with Cherri sitting in the bleachers rooting on Momo as she played soccer, or if they went to the mall to try on clothes and ogle boys. As they got older, they made a new best friend in high school named Boston, who shared their love for the hit rock band sensation, Lündon.

The trio continued to hang out together, whether shopping, at the beach or at a rock concert, these three girls partied nonstop.

Body

True to her name, Momo is an arrangement of peaches and reds. She has pink, peachy fur covering most of her body, and her reddish-orange heir with pink tips. She has red-orange eyes, and a pink nose. While quolls usually have longer tails, Momo's was always short. It doesn't really bother her though, she thinks it's cute.

Clothing

Momo loves wearing tomboyish, yet also girly clothes that are usually bright colors. Most of the time, she wears a light red bandana around her neck like a scarf, and a hairpin with a little peach on it.

I got the idea to take my 5 'main girls' and find the picture where I first drew them juxtaposed with how they're drawn today.

Momo was drawn around the same time as another character: Cherri. I wanted to make this sort of 'best friends' duo where one was a short, spunky, petite/cute type, and the other was the taller, sexy, buxom babe. Despite their physical differences, they were really close, and both had fruit names. At the same time I was first drawing them, my friend Ishi, who was still dipping his toes in the world of anthro, was creating a fictional rock band called "Lündon."

I thought "Hey! What if these two are like Lündon mega-fans??" And instantly I had this story in my head where Lündon would be performing in their town that night and they were so hyped about going. Eventually I decided to draw a third member named Boston (named after the band,) making them a 'rocker girl trio,' but of the three, Momo was the one that I always went back to (likely due to her being more 'my type.')

Her outfit is a mix of her original outfit, and her outfit from a gift a friend of mine once drew of Momo for me (though we haven't talked in years, so I feel bad.)
