I know some of his work hehehe, If I'm correct he collab with the soundtrack for Space Odyssey 2001 right? but yeah some very relaxing music XP But I put him Isao becouse the various meaning in japanese depending of the kanji characters all of them good btw XD also I think it also means "son of a farmer" so it fits for his lore XD In the other hand his brother Tarou if I'm correct in japanese means "eldest son" or "big" also has some various meaning depending of the kanji

To be honest, I didn't know about Isao Tomita's association with "2001: A Space Odyssey". As for the meanings of Isao and Tarou, I'd have to bow to your expertise. Even though I spent 26 months in Japan back in the late 1970s, I never learned enough Japanese to swear one way or the other. I do know that different Kanji can have the same pronunciation with entirely different meanings. One of my favorite anime shows was "Urusei Yatsura" and one of the characters in the show was Sakurambo. Written one way, it means Cherry; written another way it means Deranged Monk and Sakurambo was definitely a deranged monk who was called Cherry by the characters. LOL.
