The hologram formed into existence while two guards flanked either side of you. He tilted its ear, and spun round to look over you.
He produced a holographic triangle in his hand as a greeting. you considered it thoughtfully, it was familiar some how. You had seen that triangle at all of your meetings. All across the city. Something you never considered. Too vague to consider as a logo for a company, but too deliberate for it to just be coincidental background decoration.
And as the dry undulation of your throat attempted to swallow, you realized he had been watching you for a long time. He was a force of nature, a myth brought real in the world of business. You knew the stories, either he was here to rob you of your sense of self and thrust you into a life you never knew, or he was here to offer a job. _____________________________________
