Amethyst is a big girl. In human terms, she'd be precisely 6 feet tall, so there isn't a lot of females' clothes that fit her. Plus, having grown up as a bit of a tomboy, she tends to prefer males' clothes, especially since they possess that most useful of things: pockets.

Just a test of Amethyst in pajamas similar to ones I wear every night. I don't like sleeping in the nude or even partially clothed, not even in the hottest parts of the summer, unlike Amethyst who often sleeps that way or in a nightgown until she switched to pajamas in her third decade.
