~ Ion made a cheeky smile before swinging his sword at the bandit leader who barely dodged that attack, "so you are going to do this the hard way" the leader said as Ion let out a small chuckle as Zephyr sighed, "I guess we are really doing this" he said as he readied his scythe. "Alright charge in, we can take them alive or dead" the bandit leader said as his group descended on the two boys, they were able to deflect any attack that came their way, while getting small hits on the bandits in the process, kind of impressing the bandit leader, "got more skill then I thought" he thought, observing with his attacks, "but they are still raw when it come to the art of battle, the orange hat boy seams to be the one in control, so taking him out should lead to an easy victory" he continued to think as he placed himself in Ion's blind spot, readying his sword to make a deadly strike. Going in for the kill, the bandit leader smirked as he softly spoke, "you have some talent, but you left... yourself... open..." he said as his eyes widened as Ion eyed him as he was still deflecting attacks from the other bandits, in a quick move and almost effortless done, Ion drew a small hidden dagger with his right hand and thrusted it into the bandit leader's gut as he was going in for the kill. Blood splattered onto Ion from the stab, hitting him in the face as he could taste it on his lips, this caused Ion eyes to widen as a faint glow could be seen within them, Ion smiled baring his fangs as he quickly pulled out his dagger from the leader's gut, causing him to fall to the ground with the other bandits frozen in shock from what they had witnessed, "looks like you are the one who left yourself open" Ion said snarky as he raised his sword over the bandit leader, "maybe you just didn't realize who you were dealing with" Ion continued as he thrusted his sword into the leader's chest, instantly killing him as more blood splattered on him, hitting his face as the smell filled his nose. The feeling of the warm liquid felt invigorating for the thirteen year old boy, as this is the first time he had taken another anthro's life, his senses overloaded as this feeling felt good, he didn't want this feeling to slip away, he wanted more of it, he needed more blood. The bloodied Ion turned towards the other bandits who looked at the kid in fear, he banished his sword in one hand and his dagger in another, with a slight smile on his face and one glowing eye being seen through his hair, Ion started walking forward, "ok, who is next?" Ion started saying as the bandits nervously readied their weapons, "Ion snap out of it!, This isn't like you!" Zephyr called out but Ion darted forward towards the bandit group and began cutting them down one by one, "Flint... I need Flint" Zephyr started thinking, as he looked around his surroundings, "where are you? You should have been back by now" Zephyr thought as the slaughter continued until there was one bandit left, a young one who could have been now more then a few years older then themselves. As Ion went in for the killing blow, an arrow shot out from the trees, landing in the pathway between Ion and the bandit, a sign to back away, "that is enough Ion!" Flint called out as he came into view, "you need to calm down, just drop your weapons on the ground and back away" Flint continued, drawing an arrow and pointing it towards Ion. Still a bit frenzied, Flint's words seamed to reason with Ion as his eyes lost it's glow, he let go of his sword and dagger as Flint breathed a sigh of relief, "alright, you seen what we are capable of, now go, away from this valley" Flint yelled out to the frightened bandit as he got up, nodded and started running off, Ion turned his back to his two friends as he felt different emotions overcoming him, "hey Ion... everything is going to be ok" Flint started saying, "come on, we have a journey to continue, we can talk things out as we go ok?" Flint said as Ion teared up, something had come over him, he didn't know what it was but all he knew he feared it, this feeling, this wanting for blood, it was overpowering, he wiped the blood from his face with his sleeve as the smell invigorated his senses once again, picking up his sword, the feeling felt stronger again, the lightning energy in his body resonated as the glow in Ion's eyes returned... ~
