I don't understand why Lauren don't approve Scootaloo to be RD's younger sister... I mean AJ and Applebloom, Rarity and Sweetie Belle... why Scoot doesn't have an elder relative to rely on??

I actually think that at present their relationship has far more interesting plot potential. I think they can challenge each other into a much more rewarding connection if the writers pick up what's already established. They don't have to be sisters to grow into such a bond, and overcoming Dash's insecurity and Scoots' idolization really speaks to me.
Also, I think that in many ways they're a bit too similar to be sisters, but this is a bit more of an abstract impression than a real talking point. Just my two cents anyway!
