Today is International Raccoons Appreciation Day. Art is a very quiet raccoon who liked to be alone and enjoying time with himself, his life has change a lot more than he could imagine. We can see him here writing in his diary, up on his favorite tree.

I've had raccoons enter my garage during inclement weather if I neglect to close either door. The most shocking entry was seeing a small raccoon laying atop a garage door rail, and when I opened the door, the raccoon only moved slightly and went back to sleep. I had to leave the door open and fortunately the raccoon later left.
